Our Mission: Impetus - Let's Get Started exists to raise awareness of local, state, regional and national issues of health inequity and provide leadership for achieving health justice, equity and wellness for children, youth, their families and the community. Our mission is to address social, behavioral, biological and environmental determinants of health through culturally competent health education consultation, training, technical assistance and advocacy.
Our Vision:
Impetus - Let's Get Started foresees emboldened and educated communities where all people are confident, competent and supported as
they engage in positive communication with each other to take action and
improve their health.
Our customers are: - public, private and community youth-serving agencies’ staff;
- after-school arts programs staff
- community groups, faith-based organizations, civic and service organizations;
- local, state and regional governmental agencies and advisory groups;
- businesses; and
- parent/caregiver groups and mentors.
